  • Toolmaker and mould maker, followed by a degree in conventional mechanical engineering at technical college in Nuremberg and a degree in precision engineering at Furtwangen University of Applied Technology
  • Twelve years in applications engineering and sales, 9 years of which as a sales manager at GEP (General Electric Plastics), now SABIC.
  • Establishment and growth of the PTS Group between 1986 and 2016, developing it to become the leading and most successful compounder for radiation-crosslinkable materials, thermoplastic elastomers and high-performance compounds.
  • Founded ROTFELD-CONSULTING in Adelshofen-Tauberzell and Rothenburg ob der Tauber in 2017.
